Progress in cybersecurity has been steady in the last year, but not transformative, said Philip Reitinger, President & CEO of the Global Cyber Alliance in an interview with Anna Delaney from ISMG.
The key to unlocking true progress? International consensus and equity, as highlighted by InfoRiskToday in its summary of the interview. Reitinger updated ISMG on two key initiatives GCA is leading: Mutually Agreed Norms for Routing Security (MANRS) and Common Good Cyber.
Reitinger emphasized the importance of scaling community-driven solutions, such as GCA’s cybersecurity toolkits, used by over two million people globally, and detailed next steps to improve the Internet and help people and organizations be more secure online.
