
The Global Cyber Alliance’s President and CEO, Philip Reitinger (pictured second on the bottom row, from left), has been selected as an inaugural member of the CTC Tech Leaders and Innovators Council as announced recently by the National Security Institute Cyber and Tech Center (NSI CTC) at GMU’s Scalia Law School.
Composed of leading technology experts and innovators, the NSI CTC Tech Leaders and Innovators Council will support NSI CTC’s mission to develop concrete, actionable solutions to the critical cybersecurity and technology challenges facing the United States of America.
The Council will engage in private sessions to address key industry-wide issues and participate in off-the-record briefings with policymakers, ensuring that its insights help shape effective national security and technology strategies.
Philip Reitinger’s technical expertise and experience across public, private, and nonprofit sectors make him an ideal participant in this new Council. He was the first Executive Director of the U.S. Department of Defense’s Cyber Crime Center, served as Deputy Chief of the Computer Crime and Intellectual Property Section at the U.S. Department of Justice, and served as the Deputy Under Secretary for the National Protection and Programs Directorate and the Director of the National Cyber Security Center in the U.S. Department of Homeland Security. He was also Sony’s Senior Vice President and Chief Information Security Officer and Chief Trustworthy Infrastructure Strategist at Microsoft Corporation.
