What brought me to GCA? In two words: Will Pelgrin (one of GCA’s co-founders). I worked with Will in several roles in the past, so I know firsthand that if he says something is cool and worthwhile, it is! When he approached me about GCA and described his vision and the mission of the organization, there was no question I wanted to be a part of it.
I’ve always been drawn to jobs with a public service focus. GCA gives me the opportunity to continue that trend in a different capacity and on a broader scale. Having a legal background gives me analytical skills that really help in so many areas of a small organization, and my public policy experience helps inform my approach in a nonprofit environment. I love the diversity of people here at GCA and the virtual aspect is great. We don’t have a 9-5 organization; things are happening at all hours around the globe and that suits me perfectly!
