Event Description
Over the last several years New York City has been entrenched in strategic planning and operationalizing plans to make NYC a cyber-resilient city. Out of that planning has come New York Cyber Command, NYC Secure, and the Cyber Critical Infrastructure and Services program (CCSI). All of these efforts have led to NYC being on the leading edge for how cybersecurity is dealt with by a municipality. The payoff has been being prepared to pivot for the unforeseen: a global pandemic.
We will be talking with cybersecurity leadership with NYC to look at how they built the agency, how their strategic planning enabled them to continue their mission during COVID, and what they have planned for the future.
Featured speakers include Philip Reitinger, GCA President & CEO; Geoff Brown, Head of NYC Cyber Command; Colin Ahern, Deputy CISO, NYC Cyber Command; and Quiessence Phillips, Deputy CISO, NYC Cyber Command.
