Regulatory Sandbox Final Report: Global Cyber Alliance
A summary of the Global Cyber alliance’s participation in the ICO’s Regulatory Sandbox.
The ICO introduced the Regulatory Sandbox (‘Sandbox’) service to support organization’s that are developing products or services that use personal data in innovative and safe ways and where such products or services deliver a potential public benefit.
The GCA is a nonprofit organization with a singular purpose: to make the Internet a safer place by reducing cyber risk. The organization builds and provides a range of programs, tools, and partnerships to sustain a trustworthy Internet to enable social and economic progress for all. One of the solutions developed by the GCA is Domain Trust.
Due to the potential data protection risks that could be associated with possible future evolutions of this project, the GCA applied to enter the ICO’s Sandbox, and was accepted on 23 November 2020.
