I am a Senior Software Developer at GCA. My responsibility is to develop front-end architecture and back-end applications that mitigate cyber risk. This involves designing and implementing scalable web service APIs, creating servers and databases, identifying & correcting performance bottlenecks and analyzing data to extract actionable intelligence.
Prior to GCA, I have worked on web-based/mobile applications in the online learning and healthcare industries. I have also worked on desktop applications for the industries from oil quality analyzers to automated testing equipment, where I have re-engineered the legacy product and re-designed the system, designed and developed Real-Time Systems communicating with multiple hardware devices, dynamically synchronized data between widely Distributed System through web applications, provided multi-user access to real time data, used cloud computing to architect and implement serverless application.
I got fascinated by technology as a very young girl and would spend hours peering inside the pop-up book “Inside the Personal Computer”. My growing interest in computer technology pushed me to pursue a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Computer Science and Applications. I believe that I am a ‘Forever Student’ and love learning new things –Top Massive Open Online Course sites have been a wonderful blessing indeed. I also volunteer in my local town schools and enjoy working with young minds.
I believe in GCA’s mission of securing the Internet and making the connected world safer for everyone, especially the most vulnerable amongst us. I feel grateful that I can contribute to the mission by applying my technical skills in Software Development and that is what brought me to GCA. I like that at GCA the team is distributed and remote but works together driven by the mission of cybersecurity.
